Another “LPT printer port” device are these OPL3 Adlib audio support device. I’ve used these on the 286 and 486 laptop that could not have a full SoundBlaster added, and they do work great. There are various vendors of these. I don’t use one of these on this system (instead using a full CT1600 16-bit ISA Sound Blaster Pro).
